Last time i used wii transfer along with my wii, I didn't seem to have any problem watching shows that had been converted from Avi to flv, now about 6 months later I'm now running snow leopard and updated everything (wii and internet channel) and whenever I convert movies, opera tells me that flash is required. Am i my missing something or has anything changed?

I'm not aware of any problems, but I did notice a new Wii system update yesterday. I'll report back after I finish testing with that.
In the meantime, I know it doesn't sound like it will work, but I'd suggest turning off and on the Wii and starting the Internet Channel again, especially if you were visiting other web sites before trying Wii Transfer.

I haven't been able to reproduce this problem, using Snow Leopard and the latest Wii System Menu update and Internet Channel. Is it still happening for you? Are any of the other screens showing the same issue, such as when listening to music?

i too seem to be having this issue i can connect but every movie i uploaded is asking for flash. im running 10.6.2 and i have parien installed along with the codecs from final cut so i dont think its a issue on the mac side of things

Thanks for the report, I'll take another look at it. Do you get the "Flash required" message when trying to view music through Wii Transfer too, or is it just for the movies? (They both use Flash on the Wii side.)

hey i'm still having a issue with watching movies on my wii still getting the requires flash message and i just got the most recent update to the internet channel but no matter what i do its still giving me issues also i attempted to convert a movie to play through the sd card and i'm still not able to watch them through the photo channel keeps telling me that its not a supported file

Thanks for your patience. I still don't know why this is happening, but I am updating how Flash is detected for the next version, so hopefully that will work around these remaining issues with the screens not loading. I'll post an update here when I think it's ready.
As for the SD card conversion, I recently made the difficult decision to remove that feature from Wii Transfer. The Wii's photo channel just isn't reliable enough, especially with large files. For movies of any significant length I think video streaming is going to be a better and more convenient option for most people.
