   what is the difference between the normal and family editions?

   The family version is identical except it comes with 5 serial numbers. This is useful if you need to run Wii Transfer on several computers at the same time, all sharing music and having their own unique bookmark URL address, for example. Most people don't need this, but it's there as a convenience if you do.

   It's fine to use a single license on multiple computers that you own as long as only one copy is running at a time.
