In my last correspondence about all years you indicated to be specific about what Id like to see in the software to keep in mind for future versions. What would be really useful is a way to re-run the auto add script that runs the first time you install and recognizes all the videos on the system and imports them. If it could recognize and prevent duplication of previously clip started videos that would be great.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look at how I can add this functionality. I've heard similar requests from a few people, and for myself would also like a better way to ensure that Clipstart has a reference to all my videos.
In the meantime, you can use the Import from Folder command to scan a folder (and any sub-folders) for videos that have not been added yet, and it will detect duplicates and skip those. You can even select your whole hard drive or home folder using this technique. Note that it skips video formats that are not in the default list to import (mov, avi, mp4, m4v, 3gp, dv, mpg) so it's always a good idea to double-check after an import that you have everything.
